About Dr. Breen
Dr. James Breen has practiced family medicine for over 20 years. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia, and he completed his internship and residency at the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program in Rhode Island. He is board-certified in Family Medicine as well as Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Breen is the process completing a Certificate in Health Care Ethics through the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Dr. Breen has practiced in a variety of office and hospital settings, from rural community health centers to academic medical practices. He founded Benedict Medicine in order to offer quality primary care honoring Hippocratic principles. He is a board member of the Southwest Florida Guild of the Catholic Medical Association and the founder of the Benedict Medicine Consortium.
